A Custom  California Home with Spanish Mission Architectural Details

Sometimes a project requires more than just a strict adherence to a design philosophy – in the case of Ditmar, Axis 3 Architects had to utilize a geographical canvas that demanded an efficient multi-level home built to an exacting standard for aesthetics. Not only that, but the footprint of the lot required a lot of work to compact the normally broad Spanish Mission structures, into a finished project that could embrace the whimsy of the style, but also command the utility of an everyday home in a smaller front lot.

In this custom home, horizontal width made way for vertical walls that helped to complete an efficient design that still showcases the majesty of the California Spanish Style. World class finishes and craftspeople were able to help realize the owners dream residence in Oceanside, California. What results is a beacon of relaxation and timeless style within a suburban area.
